Acclaimed travel web site away.com has just revamped their Best Resorts & Lodges Guide, according to Alistair Wearmouth, Editor. Trout Point Lodge of Nova Scotia was listed among the top 10 worldwide. A review by Heather Hansen notes:
Nature trails wind through Trout Point’s 100-acre wooded estate, where astute hikers may glimpse beavers, deer, bears, turtles, eagles, moose, and more. Since the grounds abut the vast Tobeatic Wilderness Area—a rugged expanse of wild rivers, rocky lakes, remote islands, old-growth forests, and remarkable glacial landforms—outdoor activities abound. Swimming, canoeing, mountain biking, kayaking, wildlife watching, and catch-and-release fishing are just a few.
Trout Point was also named among the “top 10 for backcountry luxury” by Men’s Journal earlier this year.
